Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site – Colorado Springs, Colorado

As Rock Ledge is a living history museum, garments are stored in closets and trunks within the Edwardian era Orchard House. I found many of the garments in the collection to be deteriorating on wood or wire hangers. In order to help preserve the garments in their current storage conditions, I constructed padded hangers and padded garments with acid-free tissue to maintain their proper shape.
